DataNucleus Access Platform 1.0.5 Released

April 14th 2009- DataNucleus Access Platform 1.0.5 ("Faraday") is released. DataNucleus Access Platform provides persistence and retrieval of Java objects to/from a wide range of datastores including RDBMS, db4o, LDAP, XML, and Excel. It continues from the Java Persistent Objects (JPOX) project. Version 1.0.5 includes the following changes

• Bug fix so that any remaining non-transactional update when closing the PM always goes to the datastore
• Bug fix to JTA handling of afterCompletion()
• Bug fix to the enhancer Ant task to allow fork=false
• RDBMS: Bug fix to the SchemaTool Ant task to allow fork=false
• XML : Fix to retrieval of objects where a class has no "xpath" specified.
• Improvement to efficiency of EHCache contains() handling.
• Bug fix to the reading of @FetchPlan annotation

This release is downloadable under an Apache 2 license from the DataNucleus community site. This is likely to be the final release on the Faraday branch.
