Release own version of javax.persistence jar and remove use of EclipseLink JPA API jar

Created: 24/May/14 12:04 PM   Updated: 29/May/14 05:07 PM   Resolved: 24/May/14 01:34 PM
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 4.0.0.m4

 Description  « Hide
JPA group are incredibly lazy and don't provide a release of their API jar in the javax.persistence groupId of Maven Central. Consequently all implementations are forced to cook their own variant of this allegedly standard jar. We have made use of Apache Geronimo and EclipseLink jars in the past. We should just have our own and be independent of this JCP nonsense
