Generic compilation : Compilation of JPQL subquery doesn't allow for candidate expressions

Created: 21/Oct/09 11:36 AM   Updated: 23/Oct/09 04:07 PM   Resolved: 21/Oct/09 04:52 PM
Component/s: Queries
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 2.0.0.m3

 Description  « Hide
If we have a query like this

SELECT DISTINCT c FROM Customer c
WHERE EXISTS (
    SELECT o FROM c.orders o where o.totalPrice BETWEEN 1000 AND 1200)

the "candidate" of the subquery is an expression rather than a class

Sort Order: Ascending order - Click to sort in descending order

SVN trunk now allows for parent candidate alias to be used in the subquery FROM clause
