Create convenience method to obtain application identity from FieldValues

Created: 10/Jun/10 03:07 PM   Updated: 27/Jun/10 08:56 AM   Resolved: 11/Jun/10 11:28 AM
Component/s: Code Structure
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 2.1.1

 Description  « Hide
When we do a query and the candidate uses application identity we need to find the identity from the FieldValues object passed back. Currently we create a StateManager and candidate object and copy the values in just to get the identity (and often discard that soon after if it is actually in the cache).

SVN trunk fixes this for store.rdbms, in that it now has a method that generates the application identity from a row of the result set and hence avoids the creation of a separate object+StateManager just to get the id, hence faster too. Marking ObjectManager.findObjectForAID as deprecated so we can phase it out
