IdentityUtils for application-identity can throw away vital subclass information

Created: 22/Nov/10 04:45 PM   Updated: 10/Dec/10 07:48 AM   Resolved: 22/Nov/10 04:47 PM
Component/s: Java Types, Persistence
Affects Version/s: 2.2.0.m1, 2.2.0.m2, 2.2.0.m3
Fix Version/s: 2.1.4, 2.2.0.release

 Description  « Hide
When we have a root "id" and check if the subclass ones exist, we are overwriting the root "id". This is wrong - means that any subsequent check for the real inheritance level can start from a subclass!
