Support plugin.xml specification of Collection generic type for "java-type" extension (DFG setting in particular)

Created: 18/Jul/11 08:21 PM   Updated: 01/Aug/11 10:23 AM   Resolved: 18/Jul/11 09:33 PM
Component/s: Java Types
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.0.0.release

 Description  « Hide
While we can specify arrays of a particular type in plugin.xml as a java-type and define their DFG, we can't do it for a generic type of a Collection (or Map). Would be nice to define at least Collection types down to this level of detail.
i.e Collection<String>, Collection<Long> etc could arguably be in DFG for some datastores
