Improve ObjectManagerImpl.findObject to add better inheritance check of known subclasses and cache

Created: 16/Apr/12 08:27 PM   Updated: 11/May/12 08:28 PM   Resolved: 17/Apr/12 09:21 AM
Component/s: Code Structure
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.1.0.m3

 Description  « Hide
The current findObject methods don't do a complete check of inheritance, often relying on a datastore call. We could shortcircuit this a little by checking for all known subclasses using the L1/L2 caches

SVN trunk now adds an extra arg to the findObject() method to allow an inheritance check. Also updates the inheritance check to go through subclasses and check the cache
