Allow StoreManager to use some fields with backed SCO wrapper and some fields with simple SCO wrapper

Created: 17/Aug/12 03:18 PM   Updated: 19/Aug/12 09:29 PM   Resolved: 17/Aug/12 03:30 PM
Component/s: Java Types
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.1.1

 Description  « Hide
In a datastore like RDBMS we always want backed SCO wrappers, whereas with a datastore like Excel we always want simple SCO wrappers. With GAE we need to have backed SCO wrappers (for backwards compatibility) for relation Collections, but really would like to have simple SCO wrappers to support non-relation Collections (e.g Collection<Enum>). The StoreManager should provide a method to override the default behaviour, based on the AbstractMemberMetaData

SVN trunk now adds
boolean useBackedSCOWrapperForMember(AbstractMemberMetaData mmd, ExecutionContext ec);

and deprecates
boolean usesBackedSCOWrappers();
