Created: 18/Feb/11 05:39 PM   Updated: 01/Apr/11 03:27 PM   Resolved: 18/Feb/11 06:45 PM
Component/s: ASM Enhancer
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.0.0.m2

 Description  « Hide
If we interpret the JPA @MappedSuperclass such that it can be defined on a (base) class and that class not have any PK defined then we need to change the enhancement contract to provide different implementations of
JdoCopyKeyFieldsFromObjectId
JdoCopyKeyFieldsFromObjectId2
JdoCopyKeyFieldsToObjectId
JdoCopyKeyFieldsToObjectId2
JdoNewObjectIdInstance1
JdoNewObjectIdInstance2
to just throw an exception, since should not be called.

See also NUCCORE-649. This is supported in SVN trunk and tested on basic case of two uninstantiable superclasses with an instantiable subclass with the PK field(s)
