Component/s: Types
Affects Version/s: 1.1.3
Fix Version/s: 2.2.0.m2

Environment: Linux, Java 5, DB2 9.1.0.2

Datastore: IBM DB2
Severity: Production

 Description  « Hide
jdbc-type="CLOB" generates "CLOB(1073741824)", however during runtime, DB2 (9.1) complains
    Error Code: -355 state: 42993
which means "too large".

Proposal:
CLOB(column/@length) if column/@length is specified
"CLOB" if column/@length is *not* specified

SVN trunk uses the users column length if provided otherwise falls back to the JDBC driver info ... in this case will use CLOB(2147483647).
