Statement batching on INSERTs

Created: 12/May/07 10:22 AM   Updated: 27/Jun/10 08:57 AM   Resolved: 16/Jun/10 09:19 AM
Component/s: None
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 2.1.1

 Description  « Hide
The SQLController allows the potential of SQL statement batching. It is currently (1.2.0-beta-3) enabled for DELETE statements, but could also reasonably be used for INSERT statements ( To enable this we would need to check that no other SQL is going to be invoked from allocating the PreparedStatement for the INSERT until executeUpdate is called on it. This means that no value strategy in the datastore is invoked and no other relations are processed for the object to be inserted.

SVN trunk now enables this, and all tests pass with it after the fix to NUCRDBMS-417
