Nontransactional queries always load all results on QueryResult creation, but should delay it if connection is pooled

Created: 29/Dec/11 10:14 AM   Updated: 11/Jan/12 05:28 PM   Resolved: 29/Dec/11 10:29 AM
Component/s: Queries
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.0.5

 Description  « Hide
When a query is executed nontransactional the XXXQueryResult is created and this will load all results immediately. This is a hangover from when we just closed the connection after each operation. Current DataNucleus allows the connection to be retained (pooled). We should only load all results in those queries when the connection is not being retained.

SVN trunk will now only load all results when nontransactional when the connection is closing; when releaseAfterUse is false this will be at the end of the PM/EM, and when releaseAfterUse is true this will be once the QueryResult is handed to the user from Query.execute().
