Created: 18/Nov/13 11:59 AM   Updated: 19/Nov/13 10:28 AM   Resolved: 18/Nov/13 12:02 PM
Component/s: ORM, Schema
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 3.2.8

 Description  « Hide
Instead of just persisting everything into an RDBMS, large objects could be serialised to disk.

SVN trunk has this now. Make sure the field is Serializable and that it has the metadata extension "serializeToFileLocation" set to the name of a folder where this field value should be stored. This will then create files in this folder with the filename being the object "id" of the owning object. Obviously this means that we can only have a single field per class persisted per folder, so just use a different folder per field if you have multiple fields per class
