PostgreSQL : support detection of sequence existence using SELECT

Created: 31/Jan/14 05:30 PM   Updated: 12/Feb/14 07:49 PM   Resolved: 31/Jan/14 05:32 PM
Component/s: Datastore Adapter
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 4.0.0.m1

 Description  « Hide
Since JDBC provides no mechanism for detecting sequence existence, we currently just try to use the sequence to see if it exists. A better way for PostgreSQL would be to do a query of "pg_class" table for the sequence name.

GitHub master adds support for this (basic testing only). Falls back to the current method if an exception is thrown
