public class PersistenceException
extends RuntimeException

Thrown by the persistence provider when a problem occurs. All instances of PersistenceException except for instances of NoResultException, NonUniqueResultException, LockTimeoutException, and QueryTimeoutException will cause the current transaction, if one is active, to be marked for rollback.
