extends AbstractSQLMethod

Method for evaluating {strExpr}.substring(numExpr1 [,numExpr2]). Returns a StringExpression that equates to

• SUBSTRING(strExpr FROM CAST(numExpr1+1 AS INTEGER))

  when no end position provided.

• SUBSTRING(strExpr FROM CAST(numExpr1+1 AS INTEGER) FOR CAST(numExpr2-numExpr1 AS INTEGER))

  when end position provided.
