It also complies with the OGC Simple Feature Specification for persistence of geospatial Java types to RDBMS. It supports persistence of Java objects to the widest range of databases available in the Java development world, including RDBMS, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, Excel, ODF, XML, JSON, LDAP, HBase and many more.
